Meet our dedicated staff at Garden City Park Animal Hospital and our affiliated organizations!  

Dr. Gary Dattner

Dr. Gary Dattner graduated from Cornell University with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, New York State Veterinary Medicine Association, Long Island Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Dr. Dattner has completed continuing education courses and regularly attends the North American Veterinary Conference. He has a special interest in Bio Stem Cell Therapy and Orthopedics.


kolins Dr. Mara DiGrazia

Dr. Mara DiGrazia graduated from Cornell University in 1996. She completed a small animal medicine and surgical internship at Oradell AnimalHospital in 1997. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, New York State Veterinary Medical Association, and Long Island Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. DiGrazia has special interests in veterinary ultrasound and small animal ophthalmology. She was recently credited for supplying all Nassau County Fire Departments with animal oxygen masks through HELP Animals, Inc.

TimDr. Joseph Silverman

Dr. Joseph Silverman started working at Garden City Park Animal Hospital in 2003, progressing to veterinary assistant. In 2009, he left GCPAH to pursue his veterinary dream. Dr. Silverman attended Ross University of Veterinary Medicine and completed his clinical studies at Cornell University. He has an interest in progressive surgical techniques, radiography and implements a “fear free” environment for his patients. 


SeanWalcottDr. Lorraine Socci

Dr. Lorraine Socci joined Mineola Animal Hospital in October 2008. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in 1983. She is a member of the American Medical Association, New York State Veterinary Medical Association, and attends yearly continuing education conferences. She has a special interest in emergency medicine, internal medicine, and shelter medicine.


Dr. Yuliya Bashkatova

Dr. Yuliya Bashkatova graduated from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies in 2015. She completed her clinical studies at University College Dublin in Dublin, Ireland. Dr. Bashkatova is interested in emergency and internal medicine. She loves to travel and spend time outdoors. 



 Dr. Julie Vasilyeva

Dr. Julie Vasilyeva graduated from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Dr. Vasilyeva is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and accredited with the USDA. She has an interest in dermatology, internal medicine and implements low stress handling during appointments. In her spare time, Dr. Vasilyeva enjoys horseback riding, hiking and playing with her rambunctious cat, Godiva!


Natasha Feduik, LVT – Head Technician 

Natasha Feduik attended Purdue University and has been a part of our team at Garden City Park Animal Hospital for 14 years. Natasha has two dogs, Shiner and Phoenix, a cat, Whiskey, and 3 birds. She enjoys writing, traveling, surfing and spending time with her family.



Jennifer Lee, Office Manager

Jennifer Lee attended St. Edwards University. She started in the veterinary field as a receptionist and eventually became an office manager. She has 25 years of management experience. Jennifer likes to spend time with her family, friends, reading and doing volunteer work. She has four rescue cats: Horatio, Hamlet, Harrison and Harper. 


Jean Nunez, Book Keeper and Assistant Manager

Jean Nunez attended St. John’s University where she studied accounting. She ventured into the Veterinary field in 2000 and we were fortunate enough to acquire her skills in 2008. Jean enjoys swimming, spending time with her dog Molly and her family. 

Jacqueline Fay, LVT 

Jacqueline “Jacki” received her LVT from Suffolk Community College. She has been a member of our team for 6 years. Jacki loves spending time with her family and 3 pitbulls: Capone, Luke and Harley Quinn. She is very involved and passionate about animal rescue. 



Mary Pepper 

Mary obtained her B.S in biology from Adelphi University. She has been a part of the Garden City Park Animal Hospital team for 9 years. She is currently studing the recieve her LVT. In her spare time, Mary enjoys spending time with her pets: Miley and Brooklyn, staying active and traveling. 


Erica Cody 

Erica attended Oneonta University where she studied biology and physical therapy. She has been part of the team for 4 years and is the process of obtaining her LVT. She likes to hike, fish and spend time her fur and human family.
